About

Once upon a time, I was looking in the mirror and all I could see were my body's little quirks and "imperfections". And instead of just sitting around and pinching my midsection, I decided the perfect remedy was a camera and the Internet. I mean, right? And so this blog was born. And while I don't always love my body, on most days, all I need is a camera and the internet to get a better perspective on myself and my body.

I've got dreams of using style and education as means for economic development. I'm not sure how that'll work yet, but I'm thinking about it.

I'm currently living in Costa Rica working with ADE, doing development in a rural town that was severely affected by an earthquake a couple years ago. As I'm adjusting to life in the country, I'm trying to figure out how to make my collection of heels, skirts, and dresses appropriate for a job in development and my current setting. I'm going to make it work.
