So I'm a little late posting these pics, but that's how I roll these days. And I'm just going to go ahead and apologize for the craptacular quality of photos. There's one picture in particular that I'm almost embarrassed to post, and I promise to take a better picture of my dresses later. I didn't do it last night because my camera was dying. So lame.
So anyway, here are my 30x30 items.
From top to bottom: Ann Taylor, Kohl's, Target, Old Navy
My past formula of two pencil and two full has served me well. Also, I'm branching out by including two patterned skirts.
Top to bottom: LOFT, J Crew, New York & Co.
Those are the boyfriend jeans that my sister gave me that I can't quite figure out how to style - I WILL figure them out! I threw in a pair of skinnies and my trusty black pants to round things out.
Left to right: Target, vintage, Ann Taylor, Ross
This picture is absolutely awful, and for that, I apologize profusely. Anyway, there's an old summer dress, a vintage leopard number, a shirt dress, and a sweater dress.
New York & Co.
This is the closest thing I've got to a real blazer down here in Costa Rica, and I'm going to make it work.
Left to right: Apt. 9 via Kohl's, J Crew, Ann Taylor
One patterned, one bright, and a neutral.
Clockwise from top left: Target, Ann Taylor, Target, Banana Republic, Apt. 9 via Kohl's, Target, Target, Ann Taylor, J Crew
That's three tanks, two casual short sleeved tees, a boho tunic, a studded shoulder number, a long sleeved striped top, and my red shirt for Go Red for Women month.
Clockwise from top left: Nine West, Steve Madden, Crocs, Naturalizer, Chinese Laundry, Target
My beloved cowboy boots, a pair of wedges, the Crocs (B told me I have to show them to the "fashion world" - that's what he calls Style Nation), two pairs of flats and a pair of sandals.
Let's see how this works out. I have to say I have NO IDEA what to expect of the weather here. Some days it's bright and sunny - like a nice spring day, some days I really feel like I live in the rain forest, some days we go down to the city and it's hot. Throw in a possible trip to Puerto Rico, and well, you get the idea of my climatic woes.
Also, I let B pick out a few of these pieces and he chose some hard to style items. So, here we go. I can see I'm going to have to get creative....
So glad you joined the challenge this time around and I can't wait until you start remixing (tropical style)!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have some really great stuff! Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteWow...your life sounds like my idea of a vacation...soak up the warmth for me!
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to get creative, you ARE creative! I think you'll be fine!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteyeye Frances! We're all together in this remixing, your picks are great, except I'm wondering about those crocs, didn't they rub you on the foot? Well hopefully they don't hurt your feet my friend. By the way I'm in love with all the beautiful scenery that you are so blessed to have. =D
ReplyDelete@ Shey: The last time I wore them, they were totally fine. I think I just had to break them in. I don't know why my flats are so much harder to break in than my heels (which I miss soooo much!).
ReplyDeletegreat stuff, girl! I'm not playing this round, but I'll be ready to do the Spring remix, I'm sure! I have that APT. 9 leopard cardi. it's such a staple!
ReplyDeleteI am going to be so jealous of your warm-weather outfits!! I'm sure you'll do great with these items! Agh I miss Puerto Rico, what I'd do to be in Rincon right now!! Or the beach in Aguadilla!!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks, a lot to choose (or remis) from. Love this challenge !!!
ReplyDeleteI like your selection. It reminds me that I still haven't posted what my 30 items actually are. Whoops!
