Hip
Top: LOFT (borrowed from my sister)
Jeggings: J Crew
Boots: Sperry Top-Sider Ladyfish
Earrings: Turkey
This is a super simple look, but I loved it. It's pretty far outside my comfort zone, what with the jeggings and the hoodie, but I felt hip in it, and I rarely feel hip. Also, I'm estrenando (debuting) some of my Christmas gifts.
These boots are one of my Christmas gifts. I first saw them over on Already Pretty, when Sal sponsored a Sperry Top-Sider giveaway. I did not win, but I totally did what the folks at Sperry wanted me to do and BOUGHT them. Or at least, told my mom that I wanted these for Christmas so she'd buy them. Y'all, they are so comfortable and they're totally practical for my new life in the rain forest.
These jeggings are also a Christmas gift. I found them on the clearance rack at J Crew for a whopping $20. I realized today that I have never spent more than $40 on anything from J Crew, which I'm pretty sure means I should get a bargain shopping medal, because y'all KNOW they try to charge $40 for embellished tee shirts there. The clearance rack is my friend, especially when that clearance rack is in the factory store.
Oh, and y'all will never see this shirt on me again; my sister let me borrow it and she'll be taking it back to LA tomorrow. Clearly, the girl has style (and has been working her employee discount at LOFT).
The thing I loved most about having a sister - besides the friendship, of course - is the expanded closet.

It's funny, I looked at the outfit and there was something about it that was a little "not you" now I know why! I really like the way it looks though :)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit, very casual. I like it! I have an older sister and we are practically the same size. The expanded closet is a nice bonus, I agree.
