Starlet
All remixed except top and cardigan
Top: Ann Taylor
Cardigan: Apt. 9 via Kohl's
Belt: Ann Taylor
Skirt: Gap
Tights: Banana Republic
Booties: Aldo
Earrings: gift from sister-in-law
I wore this on the second of January and I felt a bit like a fifties movie starlet in it. I think it was the satiny top under the leopard print cashmere cardigan. It was cozy enough for church and was both comfortable and sophisticated.
Also, I have had this top for about four years, and this is the first time I've ever worn it. Isn't that terrible? Someone should lecture me about wearing things I buy. This top is such a gorgeous shade of green - my favorite color - and I just couldn't find a way to wear it before. I love it peeking out from under the leopard.
I'm also digging the nude fishnets. They keep my legs warm, and the subtle color definitely helps to tone down the sexiness. Besides, I prefer these booties with a bare leg, and this is as close to a bare leg as I'm getting in winter. [P.S. Did you notice my patented awkward hands?]
