Black and white aka Outfit #7
Shoes and cardi remixed
Dress: Target
Cardigan: Sonoma via Kohl's
Tights: No idea.
Pumps: Steve Madden
Earrings: Target
Bracelet: gift from the lovely ML of Twenty York Street
Some days (Saturday) you get a gazillion amazing pictures and some days (today) you're lucky to get three.
Next time I wear this dress, I'm putting a belt on. As I look at the pictures, I realize that it's a whole lot of print that needs to be broken up. Live and learn.
Here's a close up of the print. Tell me it doesn't look like an optical illusion. Also, take a good look at the bracelet, because I'm in love with it.

You look great, it's Monday and nothing ever feels right on Monday. I had the same problem today coupled with my need for a new camera.
ReplyDeletebesos, lynn
Yay, you are wearing the bracelet from Banana Republic, love it! Hope you do too! =)
ReplyDeleteFunny, I told myself this morning, must really wear all my belts. Do you know that I have over 40?
Yay!
besos,
ML
Would love for you to say Bonjour at:
20 YORK STREET
Ooo I love that dress! I don't think it needs a belt one bit, it looks great as is. What a good piece to include!
ReplyDeleteThe print on that dress is fabulous! It looks great on you!!
ReplyDeleteEven without the belt you have the curves to wear this dress and still look pretty and shapely! =D
ReplyDeleteLovely clean and chic look. A belt would be a fun accessory, but I actually like it without one in this case. But since I'm always strapping on a belt, I can definitely see how fun it could be - a black one for more clean lines, or a bright colored one for some funky pop!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a gorgeous dress! I think the cardigan helps break up the print quite a bit! How funny that both of us chose black and white, dressy, ensembles today! Let's hope it's a good luck charm for the week!
ReplyDeletelove how this dress looks on u :)
ReplyDeleteLove this dress! It looks wonderful on you. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI actually think this dress looks great as is... I was about to compliment it !
ReplyDeleteI like the neck detail, but yes you could belt it and add some color :)
Love this dress so much. I was meandering around Target's website this morning and had to use restraint to not head there after work.
ReplyDeleteReally like this look - it has a preppy edge which I love! On a side note - your hair is beautiful. :)
